How did you get into cycling?

My father built and custom painted a road bike that ignited a lifelong passion. He taught navigation and street cycling with confidence. It's a hobby that's fueled an intimate connection with many cities and country roads across the continent.

What is your favorite bike ride?

The Blue Ridge Parkway when it's closed to car traffic in the winter is truly sublime.

Cycling and herbalism have been endless sources of self healing in this earthly realm - every rotation; a meditation, every observation; a greater appreciation.
