The Great Winter Get Out is a season long reason to get out and enjoy our beautiful cold winters, making people excited about our city and getting active outdoors ALL year. TGWGO takes the form of a scavenger hunt and activity game. You do challenge items, take evidence in the form of pictures or video, and upload it to a social game app called Goosechase. Participants collecting points throughout the winter and can see the progress of other participants. Most challenges can be done anytime throughout the event period, Dec 1 - Feb 28th, however a few are on specific dates. There are more challenge items than can realistically be accomplished by any one person, the idea is to do what you can, and what you like, and challenge yourself to #getoutbuffalo
